Camping at Ginnie Springs, Florida

Experience the natural beauty of Ginnie Springs with a camping trip! Our 200 wooded acres offer a variety of tent sites, many boasting stunning riverfront and spring views.

Tent Camping

• Amenities: Most tent sites include a grill and a picnic table for your convenience. Running water is available at some sites.
• Availability: Primitive tent sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so no reservations are required!

Check-In and Check-Out

• Check-In: Arrive anytime after 8:00 a.m. to set up camp.
• Check-Out: Your camping pass is valid until sunset on your last day.
• Important Note: To avoid being charged for the previous night’s camping, please do not enter the park before 8:00 a.m. on your check-in day.

RV Camping

• Designated Areas: RVs are welcome in our specially designated Electric and Water (E/W) sites and approved “Outback” camping areas.

Tent Camping Rules

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, please familiarize yourself with our tent camping rules.

• Age Requirement: All campers must be 18 years or older to camp without a parent or legal guardian. If you’re under 18 and with a guardian, be prepared to show proof of legal guardianship – we do check IDs!
• Camping Fees: Prices are per person, per night, and our summer rates are currently in effect. Please note that prices may be higher on major holidays/holiday weekends and are subject to change without notice. Sales tax isn’t included in the listed prices.
• Admission: Your camping fee includes daily admission into the park, but scuba diving fees are extra.
• No Pets: We love animals, but for the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets aren’t allowed in the camping areas.
• Site Maintenance: Please keep your campsite clean and orderly at all times.
• Lantern Use: To protect our trees, please hang lanterns from ropes suspended between trees. Don’t attach them directly to trees, as the heat can harm them.
• Tree Protection: For the health of our natural environment, chainsaws aren’t allowed, and please don’t cut or nail anything to trees or vegetation.
• Designated Camping Areas: Camping is not permitted on the grassy areas surrounding Ginnie Spring or the Devil’s Springs systems.
• Noise Policy: Quiet hours are from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and we ask that you keep noise to a minimum at all other times. Excessive noise isn’t permitted.
• General Park Rules: All other regular park rules apply during your stay.
